With The Book of Boba Fett releasing on Disney+ in less than two months and the official trailer dropping earlier this week, Star Wars fans and LEGO collectors alike are feeling the excitement building. However, with details of the January wave already seeming set in stone it’s unclear what all lies ahead.
LEGO had been silent concerning the spinoff series until yesterday when they shared this digital poster and officially started the marketing campaign for their The Book of Boba Fett tie-in collection.
Only two sets for the 2022 wave have been attributed to The Book of Boba Fett so far. While no official information has been released, the rumor mill has been churning out tidbits over the last several weeks. Although 75325 is still unknown, 75326 has been labeled as Boba Fett’s Palace. This is a highly anticipated set by many collectors since it has been almost a decade since 9516 Jabba’s Palace was released.
If rumors are to be believed, a brick-built Rancor has been suggested as an inclusion with the new Palace set. We’ve already seen connections between various parts of canon, so this would fit with the Rancor seen in The Bad Batch. Looking at the poster gives some legitimacy to this rumor with the Rancor emblems on each side of Boba’s Throne.
The Bring Home the Bounty campaign is currently running, and it appears that the first LEGO inclusion will be the carefully timed reveal of 75313 AT-AT. It is possible that more LEGO news will come through this multi-company campaign though.
