With over 20 minutes of live-streamed time dedicated to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Saturday’s IGN Fan Fest ’22 told us more about the upcoming – and highly anticipated – addition to Tt Games’ library than we thought we’d get.
As well as being treated to a never-before-seen behind-the-scenes look at the making of the game, fans got to enjoy an in-depth interview with Tt Games director of production Jonathan Smith, who shared more than a few insights into LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, due out on April 5th.
In the nearly fifteen-minute long video conference, Smith shared insights into the new evolved combat system, how Tt Games developed new gameplay aspects (while still retaining enough familiarity with the four previous titles), compared and reflected on how the LEGO Star Wars video games have advanced since 2005, revealed how the new galaxy map connects the levels – both on the surface and the space around the 22 planets represented in the game, plus loads more!
