Readers living in Australia and New Zealand have discovered that the LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation Special, which had its global release yesterday on Disney+ streaming platform, is not available to subscribers living in these two Southern Hemisphere countries.
Instead, the Summer Vacation special will be released on September 23rd, 2022.
No reason has been given, and the suspected explanation that it is Winter in the Southern Hemisphere – meaning no-one is interested in summer-related content – doesn’t stand up for long once you consider that Disney+ hasn’t delayed the Summer Vacation special’s release date in the other Southern Hemisphere where it operates.
The quick and easy workaround is to subscribe to a VPN, such as Surfshark, and log in through a different region.
